[Solved]: everytime i go to delete my files...i keep getting an error

this error comes up albums/movies/wolverine/promotional/' is not writable, files can't be deleted  everytime i go to delete a file. the folder is writable but i dont know what to do.  :-\

Obviously not How can you be sure sure? Did you set permissions explicitely or are you just relying on the permission properties displayed in your FTP app?
Anyway: if you can't delete the database record using coppermine's user interface, you will need to use a third-party-tool like phpMyAdmin, browse the pictures table and manually delete the record there that corresponds to the file you want to see deleted.
