Hay There,

I use Nuke 6.5 and Coppermine V1.1
In the configuration of Coppermine stays that the album directory = Gallery and in the user album directory stands Gallery/user.
I'm running my own server, and i have in all directorys chmod 777 (pretty well open)
When i want to batch upload pictures i put them in Gallery and i have also tried to put them in Gallery/OtherDirectory. When I go to Upload Batch the program is telling me to select the directory where i have uploaded my foto's to. But there is nothing to browse. I can upload picture by picture. What can be wrong?

The directory structure is:

modules/coppermine/albums
modules/coppermine/albums/userpics

If you want to batch add pics, create a unique directory in the albums directory, don't use the userpics directory.

For example, I have modules/coppermine/albums/uploadpics.  I ftp my pictures to that directory, then batch add the images from uploadpics.

Don't upload the userpics directory.  This is for cpg use only.

But that is my problem, the administrative tool for uploading batch files in which directory does that starts. And where can i give in where it should start.

No i will not upload user directorys, but how does your batch upload tool know that it should start looking in modules/coppermine/albums/uploadpics for nwe pictures.
I hope you can help me a bit further (sorry for my English, it's not my native language)

i have the exact same problem

sometimes they appear just fine in my albums->upload dir
the next i uplaod i don't see, i rename them to 1.jpg and there they are

even this doesn't work all the time

I have solved a part of my problem with that there was no possibility to choose a directory by putting a slash behind it so:
album directory        = Gallerij/
user album directory = Gallerij/user/
So that is nice, but now i get an other error when i select a directory --> Gallery/OtherDirectory
The message is CRITICAL ERROR --> There was an error while processing a database query.

So i hope someone can help me with that?

Turn on debug mode.  We need more info about what's causing the error.

thats a problem of the upload script .... Coppermine wants to have each and every pic a unique name - even if they reside in different physical directories and go into different albums .... so before upload pics, try to rename them in a true unique manner -.-.-.

i hope this will changein the next version

Thank you for your help. But the problem is over. I have installed Coppermine at new and now everything is working fine. Probably a pitty that i haven't find out what was wrong. But i searched the "easy"way.

Thanks again for the help and suggestions and go on with the good work
