Uploading Picture Problem!! Help

Hello,

This is my first time using coppermine, I am trying to upload pictures and I get this error message:

Failed to create directory albums/userpics/10001 !

File: /home/younge/public_html/portfolio/db_input.php - Line: 223



Warning: mkdir(albums/userpics/10001): Permission denied in /home/younge/public_html/portfolio/db_input.php on line 222


Can any help?

Please follow the documentation that comes with coppermine carefully - you probably didn't CHMOD properly as suggested - see http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#how
Look into the faq as well...

Everything was set up by my web host all we had to do was install it? So I am just as lost as before let me try to see what the FAQ say.
