Came across this http://www.phpkitchen.com/article.php?story=20031028063218448

Looks like a huge security hole in YBBSE and from the site http://ybbse.org it appears that this has not been fixed as yet

If anyone knows better - please let us know

This has been fixed since YaBB SE 1.5.1RC1.  And, for your information, there is no such thing as "YBBSE" or "ybbse.org".
