[Solved]: Fatal Error then blank page on first log in attempt after installation

I uploaded, installed, got through the database set up part, it said I was ready to roll, to continue to log in, but then when it gets to the login page it says Fatal Error: with the rest of the page blank.  Same thing if i go to the index page.

Version 1.5 is not supported yet as it is still an alpha. Download and install 1.4.25.

The thread starter failed to resolve this thread, so I'm doing what he should have done: he appears to have heeded Nibbler's advice: on the page he refered to, cpg1.4.25 is running, and the login screenshows as expected there. Marking thread as "solved". In the future, resolve your threads for the benefit of others with similar issues.
