Usernames with special chars won't work from Zikula

I've had pnCPG running under Zikula for some time now, but I've never managed to get usernames with special chars work using the link to pnCPG in Zikula...

Username example: Mølle

Your gallery at http://galleri.t3nettet.dk/ is outdated and looks like it was hacked (take a look at the HTML output). Probably caused by your reluctance to upgrade in time. Most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.25. Read up Yikes, I've been hacked! Now what? in case you have been hacked - upgrading alone will not fix anything.
