User activation by admin

Hello
I set in my gallery, that every new registred user must by activated by me, before he'll be able join to registered group.
But after registration, people try to login ,and they see error about bad login or password. They think .."something goes wrong. There is no my account in database at all"
IMHO, it is not best idea.


Is there any clever way to make it like this:

After registration, new users after login can see something like " You account is created already, but you must wait for acivation" or similar ?  People will be calmer then.

Please, help.
