I saw on coppermine 1.5.x that there is a config setting that limits how many pictures are processes in batch mode. is there something similar in 1.4.x ?
My server keeps giving up on me, and not processing the files.
Thank you.

Also: when is 1.5.x available... I think it may solve my problem.

cpg1.5.x currently goes unsupported, which means: we won't answer questions about it. There's no scheduled release date for cpg1.5.x as stable release and there is no backport of the features that went into cpg1.5.x for cpg1.4.x available nor planned. If you need a particular feature badly, you'll have to write the backport for yourself or you can use cpg1.5.x on your own risk without support. We're not fond of questions about cpg1.5.x asked on the cpg1.4.x support board nor are we fond of several questions rolled into one thread. Finally, we prefer people looking for support to respect our board rules. Use the checkboxes on the batch-add screen to select less images toi be batch-added in one go: de-select the ones that would otherwise create a load spike. There is the MassImport plugin that allows you to granularly control the number of batch-added files, please review that.
