url in picture description not shown.

Hello all.
In the description of one of my photo's is an url. But instead of showing clickable text like i would expect, i just get non-clickable text followed by a small non-clickable triangle that shows the url in a popup when i move the mouse over the triangle. This is obviously not the behaviour i intend. I just want to get a normal, clicable word in the text. I verified this happens both in firefox and IE.
The description contains [ url = http://link.htm ] text [ /url ] . (Without the spaces, as in attached screenshot.) So why is this not working?
