There are alread plugins and mods to provide both askimet and capcha features to coppermine. Similar have also been integrated to the core of the forthcoming coppermine version 1.5.x.

Please search the board before requesing a feature that already exists. I am sure you will find one of the mods/plugins suits your needs.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Erm? What sort of response did you expect? I was actually off to collect all the links together as there are quite a few. Obviously I have wasted my time.
