[Solved]: problem after upgrade to phpBB3

hi folks, we had coppermine running on a seperate database from our forum on server using phpBB2 for forum.
all was well.
i upgraded the forum to phpBB3 and changed the name after install to same name as old forum was (forum2)
now when i try and get to our coppermine page i get 'fatal error'
i searched the forums and browsed to the bridgemgr.php but i cant get in. unfortunately i didnt set the forums/coppermine up but tried to get access using the info in the gallery/include/config.inc.php file but no joy. i tried also using my own login details that i used as an admin but no joy again.
is there anything i can do?
coppermine version is 1.4.19
forum is latest phpBB3.06
i have changed nothing via mysql or ftp so structure and files etc are still the same in coppermine db.
i would appreciate any help that can be given, a place to find the correct login details would be cool also.

also just to add.
if i change our old forum folders name back to as it was and rename the new phpbb3 folder something else i can use the old forum and login to coppermine gallery as normal and so can all our members.

i have recovered my password in phpmyadmin and managed to turn off bridging and go through the wizzard, using the cookie setting in the admin cp of our forum. when wizzard finished i was able to click the 'home' tab and get back to our forum but upon trying to get back into the coppermine gallery i got the 'fatal error' again?

thanks nibbler, that was gonna be my next question as couldnt see any option for phpbb3 in the wizzard settings.
