Hi everybody,

I have a very annoying probblem using coppermine:
Every time I log in, it takes nearly 1 minute starting from clicking "Login" 'til the login is done.
During this minute, nothing happens. And the overall-performance pf the hosting is quite good.
The dame time is needed to process nearly every other form that copermine provides (changing options, eCards, ...).
How can I solve this problem, where do I have to search for it?

Thank you in advance,
Matthias

matmike

As I didn'T find any edit-option: This behaviour doesn'T appear in other software, e.g. Joomla, ...
And it is not a minute, but 30 seconds.

Greeting,
Matthias

Enable debug mode and post a link to your gallery.

matmike

Hi,

thank you very much for the fast reply.
Debug-Mode is enabled; the link is http://gallery.espresso-tasse.de/admin.php

Thank you in advance,
Matthias

What plugins are you using and have you tried to disable them temporarily?

matmike

Hm, shame on me ...
It seems that the plugin "CPG-BadBehavior Plugin v0.1" caused the problem.
After deactivating, everything worked fine.

Thank you very much for the hint,
Matthias

What's that? Please post a link to the announcement thread for that plugin.

matmike

As I had some problems with users that registered automatically (pam-bots), I searched for a solution.
After a while, I found one and it was called CPG-BadBehaviour. The coppermine-plugin connects coppermine to the project "Bad Behaviour" to prevent from spam.
The links to both projects:

OK, I see - actual announcement thread on this forum is http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=50081.0 then...
We suggest using the captcha or recaptcha plugin or the akismet mod. I'm not familiar with the bad behaviou plugin.
