Hi there!

I searched other topics but nothing seems to be of help.

I am trying to isntall cpg1.4 but when I try I get the error

MySQL error was : Access denied for user 'Sql195172_2'@'62.149.141.50' (using password: YES)

This is strange, because the data I input for the host is not "62.149.141.50" as the error shows, but "62.149.150.76" which is the correct host for my mysql db, which is up and running. I checked username, db name and password and they are all correct. To prove that, I have a phpBB working with the same data in the same host.

Please.... help! :)

Look here:

If cpg and mysql are on same server I think the correct address to use is "localhost".

Check the details in your galleries include/config.inc.php. Are they the same as those in the phpbb config.inc.php.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I found a bullettin from my hosting provider. They were executing maintenance on the sql servers. Everything works now. Thanks guys.

...but!!! Now all I get is an error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /web/htdocs/www.soulforrent.it/home/gallery/include/functions.inc.php on line 3041

I searched the forum and google for that error, with no luck.

Post a link to your Coppermine in future postings - forum rule.

Seems to be fine now after I ran update.php for you.

EDIT - now it is not working with a mySQL error: Table xxxxxxxxxxxxx doesn't exist.

Stop screwing things up for yourself - you should have not changed the table or include/config.inc.php
