I'm using CPG 1.2. When I tried to upload the photos at home, I got the error message:"the document contains no data". But it seems I can upload it without any problem at work.

What's the problem?
Thanks

Tarique Sani

Try disabling your personal firewall if you have one....

ok. Thanks. I'll try that

still doesn't work. Actually my computer's firewall is not enabled.

Help.

Please create a normal user account, and post the link to your site and the username/password.  Make sure normal users are allowed to have a personal gallery.

The "the document contains no data" error can be caused by many different things, from problems with your browser, proxy, firewall, to php crashes.  Since you can upload from a different computer, I'll assume php is ok.  Have you tried using a different browser?  Firefox is small and installs quickly, if you need one to do the test.

ok, I created a user account, username: kegobeer, password: allowme

And I tried to upload photos at work with this account. there's no problem. But I tried last night at home, with both IE and netscapge, it didn't work. My firewall was off, and I don't use any proxy.

Thanks for your help

Works fine for me, using Firefox and IE.  There must be something on your computer causing the problem, but I don't have a clue what would do it.   ???

thanks kegobeer, and Sani,

I know what's the problem. the dimensions of the photos are too big. after I shrink them, it worked fine.

Is there any way to allow photos directly from DC to be uploaded? usually they're very large. :P

Read the sticky threads (those with a pin icon) on the cpg1.3 upload sub board for everything on file size and resolution limits, this has been explained in detail. Some things can be changed, some things can't.
