Unicode filename and thumbnails

Hello all,

I updated my old 1.4 gallery to 1.5.4, but I have a problem with thumbnail refresh.
My users uploaded files to 1.4 with non-english characters, and on server I get this filename:
Mohácsi-cstér3.JPG
(correct name is: Mohácsi csatatér).
When run in admin tools thumbnail only update, then Coppermine delete this file: thumb_Mohácsi-cstér3.JPG and not recreate. Just simple delete it.

This bug or how can upgrade thumbnails without delete?

I use latest PHP5 on Apache server and 1.5.4 stable version.

Here is an example for filename, what was bad under 1.4x version:

http://foto.acegem.hu/displayimage.php?album=11&pid=362#top_display_media

And if I try save these pictures from right click, I get short filename, not full/real name.

I changed now for resizer from ImageMagick to GD 2.x, and now get correct filename on ftp. ImageMagick get an error when upload a 3488x2616 image with filename and space: árvíztűrő tükörfúrógép.jpg (these words include all hungarian characters).
