Hello all,

I hope I've posted this in the correct forum!!
I've just installed Coppermine-gallery on my Mobile Disco Website through SimpleScrips,  the install was fine and I've uploaded a few pictures all fine.
I then accidently clicked off the gallery and when I've tried to return to it I get the following error message:

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

Any help is much appreciated :)

Thanks

Lee

Maybe, hard to tell, as you forgot to post a link to oyur gallery although that is mandatory per board rules.

That's bad and goes unsupported. Read up http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/auto-installers.htm

That's good to hear. We'd appreciate if you respected board rules anyway by doing as I suggested above (posting a link is required) as well as properly resolving your thread (again: board rules).

Wow somebody got out of the wrong side of the bed!
I remember the day when forums were friendly and you didn't have to read pages of boring information before asking a simple question.
Oh well have a nice Forum rule lead life

What a nice way to react. Oh well, I'll close this thread as you are too grumpy to do so.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
