When I run my update file it's giving me a error saying something is missing on line 37 on coppermine.inc I now can't see that error it's now giving me a empty gallery I've no idea what to do now.

QuoteGallery is currently offline - check back soon
<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.22 (stable)-->

Please place your gallery online.

Then, try to perform the update/upgrade as per the documentation. Currently, you have a very large number of 1.4.22 files within this attempt to upgrade to version 1.5.6. All files, other than those described below, are to be replaced by the 1.5 version files.

You cannot use your custom theme until you have modified it to work with the 1.5.x series. Therefore, reset your default theme to the 1.5.6 default; Curve.

Your upgrade has failed. Please backup your anycontent.php and /include/config.inc.php files, your /albums/ directory and your database (cop1_sql or similar) file then re-perform the upgrade steps using an FTP app you have set properly. FileZilla and SmartFTP are recommended.

I'm not able to sign in at all and it's giving me no pictures or albums in it.

The pictures and albums are probably still there. The gallery simply isn't rendering them properly due (most-likely) to a failed update. This is why you need to apply the upgrade process again following the instructions indicated within the above links. Begin by replacing your 1.4.x files and folders with 1.5.6 files and folders as described within the documentation.

If, at that time, you are unable to login, we'll use another approach, such as phpMyAdmin, if necessary. Regardless, your gallery needs to be updated properly before we can move onto anything else.

Just seems to have error on it is it getting worse?

tsaress

Thanks for the advice I've managed to fix it.

Not quite fixed. You still have plenty of 1.4.x files within your 1.5.6 installation. Please remove all non-compliant (1.4.x) theme and language files, as these are not compatible with the current 1.5.x series. See the link above that explains upgrading custom themes to work with 1.5.x.
