[Double Post] help how to make powered by link at the footer appear white

i have a theme which some body else modified and made the row of the  powerby link to appear in black color and i want it to be in white such that the coppermine is seen but i have failed to locate the exact file to modify so i need your help to locate that file so that i can change it.
