Album thumbnail icon

Is it possible to select an icon for a particular album and not have it show up in the album itself? For instance a 'Cars' album could have a generic cartoon car, which wouldn't have a real purpose being in the actual album.

Afaik that's not possible. Maybe it works if you connect a picture via the album keyword feature while that picture itself resides in a "can be viewed by me only" album.
