It appears you have lost some important files. Please restore from a backup and we will go from there.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

can u give me instructions on how to restore ?

phill104

If you made a backup then you should know how to restore. Simply upload the files from your backup and upload the backup of your database and you should be back to your old install.

Are you sure your hosting company uses "localhost" as the MySQL server?
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it. - Henry Ford

Ask your host for that or take a look at your old include/config.inc.php file which will contain those details.

I'm facing big big technical problems and i think i will start fresh with a new website
thankfully i have all my images and I want to re-upload

so should i buy a new domain name and then what download the new version of coppermine gallery ?

Αndré

You don't need a new domain name if you want to re-install Coppermine.
