Dropdown List of all pages incorrect

I just upgraded to 1.5.6 - love it (thanks guys!).

I'm playing around with the classic theme, trying to get it set up the way I want it.  I noticed that the dropdown list of all pages is not loading correctly ONLY FOR THE INITIAL LOAD OF THE FIRST PAGE.  If I use the tabbed numbers to go to a different page, the drop down list will then load correctly, even if I go back to page 1.

This isn't a really big issue for me, but thought it could be for someone.

Does the problem still exists in cpg1.5.8?

The dropdown is incorrect on the album list page, but seems to be loading correctly on the thumbnail view page.  See attached screenshots.

Works here as expected.

I tried to create a similar setup like yours on my testbed. It works there even on the main page (see attachment).

I wondered why the tabs & drop-down are displayed above (and below) the albums. This seems to be a custom theme, but the issue still occurs when I add ?theme=curve to the url. Maybe it's a bridge issue?
