tab selectors work, but tab fails to highlight

As I move from tab to tab in my gallery, I get the selection I intend - but, the far left "album list" tab remains highlighted, instead of moving with the selection (see attachment).

Ah; I see it works this way in the demo as well.  I suppose It's working as intended.
