RANDOM image display consumes tons of ressources...

Coppermine for CMS (PHPNuke 7.2) but I think it will be the same on COPPERMINE STANDALONE!

I upgraded from 1.2.2 to 1.3.0 and was hoping RANDOM image display in the Main screen was fixed, but isn't. Can't you go back to the 1.1 Coppermine code? It did not seem to suck all resources out of the server.

When I disable random pics in my coppermine startpage, server has normal load times < 2 secs for the page, if I set random server load goes to > 60 secs!!!!

Random pics are very important for me to keep users on the site!

The old code is just commented out - you can use that BUT  like 1.1 it will very occasionally give no image to display....
