How do I do this?

I've read so much until my eyes are crossing and can't seem to find out how to do this.. I'm sure it's there, I'm just missing it. I only want it to show the categories, not the categories and each album as it's doing now. See attached image.. I don't want it showing those albums, just the categories. I thought I had it by going into "Config>Album list view>The content of the main page" and removing 'alblist' but that didn't work.

So, what am I missing? Thanks for your help in advance.
