Personal galery for Admin

Is it possible for an admin to have an personal galery? I don't seem to succeed in placing photo's in it, while all my non-admin member can.

Yes that's possible. Please post a screen-shot of your group manager.

And with that settings your admin account isn't able to create albums in its personal category?

Ah, I'm sorry. I noticed that al the non-admin users had a personal folder from the beginning. When I didn't saw that with my admin-account, I was confused. So I posted here and somebody told me that I had to create a personal folder. I did that by clicking on 'Upload File' and then on create album, selecting my personal space from a dropdown menu.
