Thumbnail disappeared. Please help us!

We had a relatively old version of Coppermine and when we upgraded to 1.4.24, the thumbnails from many albums disappeared. Not all thumbnails disappeared, but we didn't see a pattern in why those that disappeared, did.

When we click on the text link that seems to have replaced the thumbnail, the larger image comes up so we know they're still there.

Can someone please tell us how to bring back the thumbnail? There are hundreds of them so we were hoping there was a way to fix them all at once. We'd really, really appreciate your help!
