Easy Rotate Plugin Problem

I really like the concept of this plugin as it's just what I was looking for. However....

When viewing a picture, if I try to click the little +90 or -90 icons next to the delete button to do a quick rotation, the picture turns but then becomes solid black (full size, regular, and thumbnail). I cannot get it to go back without deleting and re-uploading the pic.

If I click "crop and rotate" button instead and do it in there and save it, it works  but this is very time consuming. Is there a fix for this?
