Whenever I connect as admin - nothing happens. I cannot administer Coppermine gallery (create users, upload fotos etc). Admin controls are not shown.

Here what happens
empty gallery -> login screen -> "welcome admin" -> empty gallery.

Running Foxserve binary installation on windows XP sp2 rc2. (apache 2.0.39, mysql 3.23.39, php 4.2.2).

It seems to me that the gallery doesnt pass session info to the next page (totally guessing). I also tried to open admin.php page
by typing /admin.php.The page would show a message "You don't have permission to access this page. " then I would click login and enter username and password. Still the same message.
Also, I am trying to connect thorugh localhost. I tried several browsers - IE 6, MyIE2, Mozilla Firefox 0.8
Tried clearing cache and cookies (also tried eating them as well :)) relogin again. Tryed also to reinstall. (delete .lock file and then install again), no luck either.

I will try to redownload and unzip.

Thank you

PS: started new install process. Got this message "Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies" What does it mean and can I fix it? if yes how?

what cookie settings do you have? Try accessing the gallery with IP adress insetad of localhost.

I tried IP address, tried hostname, still cant get into admin mode.

Cookie settings IE: Medium (I evem checked IE temp folder for cookies they are there), in Mozilla Firefox .9 default "accept cookies normally"

Would I have problems if I access coppermine as http://<hostname>/coppermine/index.php?

Thank you,
/Alex

Hard to tell, I have no experience in Foxserve setup. Why don't you try?
