When I upload my gallery on to my site, do I upload the folder, or do I use HTML?

Are you performing an initial install?
If so please read the documentation. http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#installation

Unpack the archive preserving the directory structure.

When you download Coppermine it comes in a compressed format. Unzip it or uncompress it.

Upload all files onto your webserver (making sure to use the correct ftp mode)

The use an ftp application to load the contents of the compressed file to your server.

Some hosting services allow you to upload compressed files and unpack them on the server which will give you the same results.

Not sure what you mean what you mean by do I use HTML?
