MP4 video on 1.5

hello, ive been trying to upload an MP4 video file to my new coppermine install but it doesnt work.

i tried to run the plugin called "fieltypes_editor" but it doesnt look like it works on 1.5

any other plugins or ways to do it?`

also, when i change the video file types from the File Settings in coppermine, it never accepts it and it still gives me an error saying it doesnt support the filetype.
