Not quite sure what you are asking? Are you asking for a responsive theme? Currently that would not be a simple task. The current theme enging coupled with the fixed thumbnail rows we use doesn't lend itself to easilly making such a theme. Hopefully in the future this could change or maybe someone has come up with a workaround but I do not know of one at the moment.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
