I can no longer login with the browser IE9, with firefox or IE8 it is ok?

Support has stopped for 1.4.x you'll have to upgrade to 1.5.x if you need help.

But, for now have you tried running IE8 in compatibility mode?
Running SMF 2.1.4  / Tinyportal 3.0.1, bridged with Coppermine 1.6.25, plus cpmfetch 2.0.0
