Can I use Coppermine gallery if I'm using Postsgres as db in phpBB?

My phpBB is using Postgres. Coppermine uses MySQL. Do they need to share the same db? Is it possible to use Coppermine if I'm using Postgres in phpBB?

If you don't want to bridge Coppermine with your phpBB, it will work. If you want to bridge I don't know what happens, but I doubt it will work out of the box.
