Upload albums with a lot oh photos

Hi!!
I recently have a problem with the lastest version of coppermine. I can´t upload albums with a lot of photos, like 10000. I rememeber that some years ago I didn´t have that problem with other coppermine versions.

What exactly happens? How do you try to upload that "album" (actually you're just uploading files to an album)? I assume you use the batch-add feature and it fails while selecting an album after you've chosen the source directory (or even while choosing the directory)?
