I almost made Advanced Guestbook compatible with coppermine 1.5.16

However you cannot post any new entries.
You click on "Leave a Message" and nothing happens... (guestbook.php?file=addentry)

I am willing to pay for help....

It might be very useful to attach your current plugin conversion and/or post a link to the plugin announcement thread.

I have used this package which had some adjustments made by someone else.
Iy shows questbook entries, etc..

But nothing happens when you try to add something .

altenae

I have used this guestbook for some time in CPG 1.4
After the upgrade you can still see the contents of the guestbook, but adding is not possible anymore.

I really miss this in my gallery...

Maybe someone is able to make this work with coppermine 1.5

It's advisable to post the budget you're ready to spend, the time schedule you have in mind and as many details as possible on the customization you need - a link to your page is mandatory.

Here is the link

http://www.wildlife-photos.net/gallery/guestbook.php

Everything seems to work , accept leaving a message..(you can try)
I was thinking about 30/50 euros

No rush....

altenae,

You just stated the mod is done, but didn't elaborate. Did you pay someone to fix it, or did you fix it yourself? I use this integration too and have the same problem. Since I upgraded CPG to 1.5.xx, the "Leave a Message" link no longer works, though it displays the posts up to the time it broke.

Will you share the fix, if you did it yourself? If you paid someone to fix it, would you ask if they would be willing to provide the fix to others?

There are probably others besides myself that would like to have the problem solved. I haven't been able to figure it out, and I miss having it in my gallery as well.

Thanks...

Thanks for the quick reply Andre. I found that thread, downloaded the file, unzipped and uploaded it to my gallery, yet the link still does not work. Perhaps it is something in my code as I created a custom link for it when I first installed it in CPG 1.4.x. I was able to get the link back when I upgraded to CPG 1.5.12 and that's when the link quit working. I made this post about how I embedded the link in CPG. http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,55796.msg350653.html#msg350653

Any thoughts?

Thanks...

Please don't ask your individual question in this paid support thread. As far as I know the guestbook works as expected. I don't know that "plugin" very well, so (if you start a new thread) please post more detailed information if you expect help, as I don't want to read the quite long thread you refer to and I also don't want to install and test the guestbook myself.

My sincerest apology. I didn't realize I was in the paid help forum. I'll post in an appropriate place.

Thanks.

Ok, I would like to have this guestbook on my page, but so far I`m not succesfull.

I understand the extracted content of the zip file goes into the root directory of my Coppermine Gallery.

But then what? Where am I supposed to see something in my gallery? How do I activate it?

I must be missing something here  :-[
