Thumb and midsize images show, large does not

Hello,

Brand new 1.5.2 install, and I'm brand new to Coppermine. Uploaded a few test images.

Thumb and midsize images show up, but when I click on a midsize image, I get a new window with a gray background, but no image showing. The filename is listed on upper left (with what might be a "broken link" icon.)

I have looked through the admin config settings to try to figure it out, but cannot figure it out. Can someone help me troubleshoot this issue?
