Buddy List and 1.5.20

I was wondering if there is a way to add the buddy list from Stramms set for 1.4+ to 1.5.20

This feature is really missed by my members.

Would I need to get the files from the previous version and add only the coding in the various files for buddylist into the current "like" files then insert the sql for it

Would that even work?

Or is there another method to add it into 1.5.20

I don't know how much coding effort it will be to add that feature to cpg1.5.20. Probably you cannot copy & paste the code changes but have to port some parts.
