Modify front page

It's one setting I'm particularly looking a solution for. As you can see here http://kristindaily.org/photos, the part before and the part after the categories are not looking alike. I've tried to modify this in CSS but both of those are actually tableh1, although they don't look the same on the outside...? My question is how does the lower one have a smaller text than the upper one? And how do I modify this to skip this problem in the future. The second part should have it's own ID/CLASS in CSS, that's for sure.
