Incorrect album count

Please can someone tell me why having only 6 albums, on the top statistics it says I have 7 and at the bottom it says 6?
I have only 6 albums, no private albums (one person created one but never uploaded anything and this album is nowhere to be found) .. this is puzzling me

You just answered your question yourself The stats just count the number of albums, regardless if they contain pictures or not. If you want to fix this, the easiest way is to delete that empty album.
