All WP links lead back to coppermine

I just installed coppermine and all my WP website links now lead to the coppermine gallery. I'm guessing a file in the wp-admin (or something?) got overwritten by the coppermine installation, but how do you fix it? If that's even the problem. Should I just save my WP files and start everything over?

where did you install Coppermine relative to WordPress?
They should not be in the same folder as each will overwrite index.php at least.
