Hi,

we had issues when uploading files bigger than 8MB on our Coppermine driven gallery https://wehrisch.eu/bilder/.
When using http uploads and the suggested settings for upload troubleshooting in place, we got many diverse error messages.

Image size limit was set at 16384KB in Coppermine configuration, wehrisch.eu is an alias for wehrisch.de.

Here's the test user account data:
    Username: tester
    Password: tester

We have been using a foto (13,9MB JPG, 4032 x 3024 x 24bit) taken from my camera as an example to test with.
Having done as suggested in http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/some_forum_thread didn't work as expected:
We got different error messages when trying that.

Thanks to the suggestion that this could be related to Web server configuration limits, we finally found in our php.ini
post_max_size =8M
When we set this to 16M, our troubles simply went away.

Since we didn't find this fact here, we thought to post it anyway, in the hope it's useful to someone.

Um,

we overlooked that sample thread reference, which we should have left out.

Also, the php.ini limits are named in http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/upload_troubleshooting.htm#upload_support, which we followed, but apaprently didn't fully read to the end earlier.

Feel free to toss this thread into the abyss...
