can't install plugin

Hi,
I'm trying to install the recaptcha plug in.
I go to "manage plug ins"
Browse to the zip file, hit upload and nothing happens. it doesn't show on the "installed plugin" part of the screen.
What am I doing wrong?

That plugin installation method is broken in CPG 1.5.  You will have to place the recaptcha files in the plugins folder using some other method.

Especially if this is a new installation of CPG, you are recommended to upgrade to the 1.6.x version of CPG. Plugin upload in the Plugin Manager is working there.
