Not able to create album

I am on cpg 1.5.46, using PHP 5.6.38. I am logged in as administrator, but are not Abel to create albums any more. There is just a spinning wheel and nothing happens. No error message. Any idea what I can do?

This usually happens when you use a theme, mod or plugin that adds a space to your HTML output, which breaks the ajax functionality. Please try if it works with a default theme and all plugins disabled. Alternatively post a link to your gallery.
