Mobile Light Theme - Eliminate some features

My website is retinagallery.com
I upgraded to 1.6 and previously I had a modified mobile light theme that eliminated the album count, file count from the homepage and the album descriptions from the subsequent pages.  I lost that file when I upgraded.

I would like to eliminate the two columns on the homepage of the theme with the album count and file count.
I would also like to eliminate the album description from the subsequent pages (category pages).

I have attached images that show what I would like to do.

As always, thank you very much.  I started with coppermine almost 10 years ago and it has been a great platform for my website.
