Hi All!
Can you please advice with strange issue?
I'm very sure that after upload the image was seen correctly.
But now it looks like this https://www.lightphotos.net/photos/displayimage.php?pid=6792
There is a number of such images now appear in gallery (i don't know how many exactly as it is 40K images in it in total).
Seems the issue is somewhere in the autorotating the original image - the size is taken from rotated image but the file is showing as original.
Can you advice how to fix this without re-uploading or at least how to find the problematic images?

Here are landscape and portrait images in all 8 orientations.
(file is too large to attach here) https://rfourm.net/CPGdev/cur_develop/orientations.zip

Uploading them with auto-orient on should create thumbnails and images that display correctly. Uploading without auto-orient on would create improper thumbnails and images for orientations 2 through 8. You can test your gallery with them.

Thank you, will do.
My main concern is that i'm very sure originally the pictures were displayed correctly as i check all uploads.

Attached is how that file uploads for me (with auto-orient). Could someone have tried to edit the file to display upright and it didn't turn out well?

Good question - i don't think anybody touched this image since 2013 then it was uploaded.
Also strange that the size of the image stayed the same in the database - you can see it is portrait, but the image actually turned on 90 degrees.

Another question - than you talk about auto-orient you mentioned auto-rotate plugin or some other setting?

In CPG 1.6.x, there is an 'Auto-orient image(s)' checkbox on the upload forms (and I think on batch, also).
