I used the vb3.0 bridge and changed the some of the values to match the 5.x.x version, like password = token etc. The bridging seemed to work ok, but only if I log in to the admin side of vbulletin first. If I log in to the main side it will not log me in. Works great from the admin side. I have tried everything I can think of with no luck.
My vb forum needs to pass on 2 user groups to have posting access, admin "6" and paid members "9". It's like its not using the custom user group tables, and just the admin value in the bridge file "6". I have attached the bridge file and the custom group table. I know a lot of vb 5 users would love to have this work. Here are my sites. cincyoffroad.com/Gallery/   cincyoffroad.com/forum/
Thanks

To help you, one would have to have a copy of VBulletin to fully analyze. The cost of doing that prevents me from helping.

I was hoping whoever made the bridge file would chime in. It has to be in the cookie. I haven't had time to work on it.

I had an opportunity to work with a vBulletin 5.6.1 version regarding bridging. The project was cancelled before I could completely finish the bridge properly, but what I have at least works. There is no seamless login and logout; the admin 'Users' button and 'My Profile' button don't work. But, if you're logged in to VB and go to CPG, you're logged in there, too.
