Unusual problem with coppermine.

Hi all!

I'm running into an usual problem right now. The forgot password says Criticial error cannot send email? I tried to run update.php and used credentials that mirror PHPAdmin, this works -- it runs the update. But I click check versions at the bottom and it takes me to a page it says I have no permissions for this site.

What's the disconnect here?

Sidenote: The forgot password situation doesn't work for other users as well. It gives back that Criticial error Password reminder email can't be sent -- even though email is registerd and user active in PHPAdmin.
