No Docs Folder

Hi, I need to upgrade from 1.6.18 (stable) to cpg1.6.x-1.6.27
I extracted all the files and was reading the Readme file and it said I could find all I need to know about this op in the Docs folder but looking through I'm not seeing this folder.
The webhost included the following information:
MySQL Version: 5.7.44
PHP Version: 7.4.10
My bad for not having kept the gallery up to date. I was trying to upload pictures to it but they're not uploading.
I don't want to jump into an upgrade blind and can't find the Docs folder.
