Another newbie here. I have replaced the default logo and linked back to my site.  The problem is that the logo is distorted. I have tried different sizes, using GIF, JPG, PNG formats and all produce the same results.

The graphic displays properly if I creat a blank HTML test page.

Here is a link to my site.  http://www.qcvolleyball.com/coppermine

I'd appreciate if someone could take a look and see what's wrong.

THANKS!!!!!

The logo on the main site is part of the background images and a different file as the one you use on the coppermine site.

main site: (https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.qcvolleyball.org%2Fimages%2FBkg2.jpg&hash=7853518d6fc838eb4a63a333ba02648ef14a8c33)

In coppermine : (https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.qcvolleyball.org%2Fcoppermine%2Fthemes%2Fclassic%2Fimages%2Fqcvblogo.gif&hash=4f177a04698dd03b1a79dcc28264a76ce1f9e82f)

Also notice that one is a JPG file and the other a GIF file. So you can't really compare those two files, the fact that it's looking like this has nothing to do with coppermine but the file itself

Don't ask me: Can you do this .... or Give me that...or I need Quick help in PM's. I'm not Santaclaus so post your questions on the board so it will be in the benefit for everyone.

Try saving it as a .jpg, and uploading it. If not that, then try it as a .png. Then CHMOD it to 755. See if that works.

OR - try using these properties for the picture:
