Hi!

Has anyone got the "Batch upload" to work? I havent, and for the moment I've set the CM to allow 10 files at the time. But it would be much easier if you could just point CM to a directory and press "Go". What have I missed?

Read the documentation.

Use your FTP client to upload pictures to a folder inside the albums folder BUT not into userpic, give the folder where you have uploaded the pictures write permissions for the server - click on the batch add button in the Admin menu of your Coppemine

I forgot to mention that I run CM on my own computer, with apache2triad. Still the same way to go, then?

yes more or less - except instead of FTP you can simply copy the needed folder to be under albums
